With applications having been submitted to be included for the US national delegation at the FEI World Para-Equestrian Driving Championship, the United States Equestrian Federation Select Committee is currently reviewing them before making its announcements about who has been selected for the team.

The FEI World Para-Equestrian Driving Championship is being held this year in  Beesd, Netherlands from August 3 to 6. Beesd was officially announced as the host for the competition earlier today.  The event is being running concurrently with the FEI World Single Driving Championships in Piber, Austria.  Beesd was selected ahead of Izsák, Hungary and Conty, France.

The United States has historically performed well at this competition.  Participating nine times, the country’s equestrians have 16 medals of which 4 were gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze.
